Tracy Saxton, Ph.D.


Tracy is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence on the Frazier Life Sciences team focusing on company creation, as well as identifying investment opportunities in companies developing novel pharmaceuticals.

Tracy joined Frazier Healthcare Partners in August 2018 as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence and as founder and CEO of Aucupo Biosciences, a search company focused on identifying novel therapeutic interventions for patients with unmet medical need.

Prior to joining Frazier, Tracy held investment positions with Pivotal bioVenture Partners, the Roche Venture Fund (RVF) and SV Life Sciences Advisers (SVLSA), where she focused on the biopharmaceutical sector. Tracy previously held positions at Tularik (acquired by Amgen) and Threshold Pharmaceuticals. She began her career as a drug discovery scientist and moved to leadership roles in Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development and Project Management.

Tracy earned her Ph.D. in Medical Genetics from the University of Toronto and her M.B.A. from Columbia University. She was a Damon Runyon-Walter Winchell Cancer Fund fellow at University of California, San Francisco, and is also a Kauffman Fellow.
