Mr. Magnano joined Frazier Healthcare Partners in 2006. He represents Frazier on the boards of Caravel Autism Health, Comprehensive Pharmacy Services, Matrix Medical Network, Northfield Medical, Parata/TCGRx, United Derm Partners and Vein Clinics of America. Mr. Magnano has been responsible for Frazier’s successful investments in Ascension Orthopedics (acquired by Integra Lifesciences), DSI Renal (merged with U.S. Renal Care and ultimately acquired by Bain Capital), Golden State Medical Supply (acquired by Court Square Capital Partners) and Laboratory Supply Company (acquired by McKesson NYSE: MCK). Mr. Magnano also manages human capital recruitment for Frazier’s Growth Buyout practice.
Prior to Frazier, Mr. Magnano was an Associate at Morgan Stanley Partners (MSP), focusing on growth equity investing. At MSP, he was responsible for the origination, evaluation, and management of investments in the healthcare sector. Before joining MSP, Mr. Magnano was a Senior Analyst in the healthcare investment banking group of Morgan Stanley. Earlier, he spent two years in the Audit Practice at Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Magnano is a member of the Board of Directors for the Woodland Park Zoo and is an advisor for American Corporate Partners, a nationwide mentoring program dedicated to helping veterans transition to the private sector.
