Mr. Tallman joined Frazier Healthcare Ventures in 1999 as an Executive-In- Residence and was promoted to Venture Partner in 2006
and Operating Partner in 2009. Mr. Tallman works closely with
Frazier Healthcare's Growth Equity and Medical Device teams. He
played a major role in the creation of Trident USA Health Services
and its initial acquisitions and continues with Trident in a key
operating role. Previously Mr. Tallman served as the initial CEO
of Calypso Medical Technologies, where he played a major role in
acquiring core technology an recruiting key members of
the current management team. Mr. Tallman currently serves on the boards of
Calypso Medical and Ascension Orthopedics. Prior to joining
Frazier Healthcare, he was President of Quinton Instrument
Company, a medical device company owned at the time by American
Home Products. While Mr. Tallman was at Quinton, sales increased
from $23 million to approximately $160 million.
