Ben Magnano

Mr. Magnano focuses on the development and review of majority recapitalizations, management buyouts, corporate divestitures, and carve-outs as a member of Frazier’s Growth Buyout team.

Mr. Magnano joined Frazier Healthcare Partners in 2006. He represents Frazier on the boards of Matrix Medical Network, Prezio Health, United Derm Partners, U.S. Renal Care and an undisclosed investment. Mr. Magnano has also been involved in Frazier’s investment in Laboratory Supply Company (acquired by McKesson NYSE: MCK), Ascension Orthopedics (acquired by Integra Lifesciences) and DSI Renal which was merged with U.S. Renal Care. Mr. Magnano also manages human capital recruitment for Frazier’s Growth Buyout practice.

Prior to Frazier, Mr. Magnano was an Associate at Morgan Stanley Partners (MSP), focusing on growth equity investing. At MSP, he was responsible for the origination, evaluation, and management of investments in the healthcare sector. Before joining MSP, Mr. Magnano was a Senior Analyst in the healthcare investment banking group of Morgan Stanley. Earlier, he spent two years in the Audit Practice at Arthur Andersen.

Mr. Magnano is a member of the Board of Directors for the Woodland Park Zoo, serves on the Gigot Center for Entrepreneurial Studies Advisory Board at the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame, and is an advisor for American Corporate Partners, a nationwide mentoring program dedicated to helping veterans transition to the private sector.
