Dan Eckert joined Frazier Healthcare Ventures in March of 2010 as an Operating Partner on the growth equity team. Dan’s 25 year career in healthcare has included extensive experience in distribution and logistics, technology enabled services and medical devices.m

Prior to joining Frazier, Dan was President and Chief Executive Officer of PolyRemedy, Inc. a manufacturer of nanotechnology based, robotic delivery systems. Dan was previously President and CEO of Direct Patient Solutions, a direct-to-consumer healthcare supply company, President and Chief Operating Officer of Neoforma, Inc., a leading provider of healthcare supply chain management solutions, and President and Chief Operating Officer of Fisher Healthcare, the clinical laboratory supply division of Fisher Scientific International. Dan has also served in senior level management positions with McKesson Corporation and Owens & Minor, Inc. He began his career in the healthcare supply field with Johnson & Johnson, Inc.

Dan has been very active in the healthcare industry through participation in various capacities with the Health Industry Distributors Association, Efficient Healthcare Consumer Response, National Alliance for Health Industry Technology, Strategic Marketplace Initiative and Federation of American Hospitals. Dan serves on the Board of Directors of LifeNexus, Inc., a provider of consumer-centric, smart card based Personal Health Record solutions and the Advisory Board of Allocade, Inc., a provider of patient flow optimization software and management services.
