Pioneering a new class of glaucoma therapy with a novel micro-bypass stent

Glaukos (NASDAQ: GKOS) is an ophthalmology medical device company developing and commercializing a new class of surgery for treatment of glaucoma. The company's iStent device, which is the smallest medical device approved by the FDA, has enabled a new category of surgery (micro-invasive glaucoma surgery) that has been shown to reduce intra-ocular pressure for patients with glaucoma. Glaukos completed its IPO on NASDAQ in 2015.
