At Frazier Healthcare, we are committed to helping entrepreneurs launch and develop long-term sustainable and successful businesses. We expect to support our venture investments over the duration of their development with total investment amount per company averaging $10 to $20 million. We are the lead investor in the vast majority of our venture investments and are known for our high value-add active involvement. We make venture investments in our targeted sectors of Biopharma and Medical Devices.
Our early-stage venture investments include seed, Series A and B financing rounds. It is not uncommon for us to seed great entrepreneurs with start-up capital and nurture the growth of their business through our Entrepreneur-in-Residence program to successful product launch. We are also very active in the latter rounds of financing (Series C, D and PIPEs) both in support of our seed and early stage investments as well as making de novo investments.
At Frazier Healthcare, we provide much more than capital to our portfolio companies. Our technical and operational expertise enhances outcomes for these companies, while our broad industry contacts provide the financial, strategic and recruiting referrals needed to achieve growth and overcome obstacles.
